Tribunj is a small fishing village located between Zadar and Sibenik, with a population of 2000. Tribunj is full of historical and cultural heritage. The church of St. Nicolas was built in 1452 and is situated on the top of the hill that has an amazing view of the town and the many small islands surrounding the village. Old part of Tribunj is situated on a small island that was later connected to the mainland by a stone bridge. The new part of Tribunj stretches along the inlet of Rupa. The rich sea flora and fauna makes Tribunj an excellent choice swimming and taking an underwater safari. Traditional feasts, such as Tribunj Night and Fishermen's Night, are organized in the summer.
